Terrence Nathaniel Toliver

TERRENCE NATHANIEL TOLIVER. "I loved living immensely! I began life Dec. 2, 1947, in Arkansas. I've transitioned into a new dimension with God who understands paths I chose, living life as best I could with regrets, mistakes and lots of joy. I cherish each of you who came into my life. Margaret and Burke Toliver, and Mary Ann Swann were special parents. I survived my wonderful brother, Tim Toliver (wife, Jeanne). Siblings, Buster and Jerry Swann, Mary Waddell, Susie McManners, Louise Voss, Pat Williams, nieces and nephews survive me. As a teenager I had the opportunity to live at Presbyterian Children's Home in Monticello. Director, Leroy Acree, and his wife, Louise, were my precious mentors, teachers and "parents." I trust the wisdom of my creative daughters, Celeste Rearden (husband, Todd) and Elizabeth Camper, to live joyfully as their mothers taught them to do. Wonderful grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan, Caitlin, Piper, survive me. I served in Vietnam, participated in Fort Roots programs, enjoyed traveling, attending college, developing computer skills, serving people in need, decorating my apartment, and enjoying my cat, Sweetie. Friends I truly loved having and my spiritual life all helped me learn to love myself. Life's been good to me!"
