Lorene W. Thomas

Lorene W. Thomas ,86, of Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 7, 2010. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. She loved sports and was a devoted, proud Razorback fan. After 25 years of service, she retired as an LPN from St.Vincents Hospital, Little Rock. Survivors are her daughter, Shelia Rice and husband Rick of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Deana Priest and Matthew Brown both of North Little Rock; and a sister, Louise Broadbelt and husband Eddie of Palmyra, Pennsylvania. She also reared, and leaves behind, two nephews: Phillip with wife Becky Wells of Jonesboro and Craig with wife Shawneen Wells of Oklahoma. Ms. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Stella Wells of Little Rock, two brothers; Colonel Dan Craig of San Antonio, Texas and Donald R. Craig, M.D. of Lubbock, Texas. Memorial services will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth 5800 W. 12th St, Little Rock on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ben Jones, officiating.
