Martha Lynn Wisner Gangnath

Martha Lynn Wisner Gangnath, age 76, of Winchester, passed away Sunday September 5, 2010. A native of Dermott, Ark., she had her home in Franklin County from 1979 to 1983 and from 1988 to the present time. Martha will be remembered by her friends and family as an avid and talented golfer. She was also a devoted member of Winchester First United Methodist Church and the Open Door Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Johnston and brothers, John Charles Wisner, Jr. and Jackson Stone Wisner. She is survived by her husband, Harold Gangnath of Winchester; daughters, Shryl Christenson (Kevin) of Kirkland, Ill. and Jana Holysz (Greg) of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; sons, Carl Wesley Thornton (Ljuba) of Las Vegas, Nev. and Harold D. Gangnath (Carol) of Rockville, Md.; grandchildren, Elise and Derek Johnson, Danielle and Nikki Christenson, Alex and Nicholas Thornton, Roderick and William Gangnath, Mindy, Allison, Robert and Andrew Holysz; sisters, Gloria W. Doty (Howard) of St. Louis. Mo. and Frances Kresser (David) of El Cajon, Calif. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Martha will be held Thursday September 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Winchester First United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Winchester First United Methodist Church, 100 S.
