Anda Clay Aaron, Jr. 96 of Little Rock, died Wednesday September 8, 2010. A retired Assistant Fire Chief with the Little Rock Fire Department, he was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He was born December 1, 1913 in Little Rock, the son of Anda Clay Aaron,Sr. and Beulah Foster Aaron Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Jones Aaron, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. He is survived by four daughters, Betty Jones of Brandon, Mississippi, Elsie Adkins of Little Rock, Ida Lantz of Sheridan, Arkansas and Carolyn Gaddis and her husband, Ken, of Sheridan, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 25 great great-grandchildren. He will be buried next to his wife at Rest Hills Cemetery in a family committal service Friday morning. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Friday) at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. David Moore and Rev. Bryan Fink officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until service time.
