Billy Ray Wood

Billy Ray Wood, age 72, died Sept;. 8, 2010. He was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Billy is preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Mellie Wood; three brothers, Raymond Wood, Darl Wood and Rufus Wood; three sisters, Irene Wood, Gladys Trussell, and Shirley Keaton. Survivors include brothers, Johnny (JoAnn) Wood, Stuttgart, Delano (Dixie) Wood, Springdale; sisters, Inda (Harold) Young, DeWitt, Evelyn (H.D.) Theis, Conway, and Carole (Amos) Carver, Gentry. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral servicese are 10 a.m., Saturday, at the church directed by Essex Funeral Home, with burial in DeWitt Cemetery.
