Owana Gennes Fagan, 91, of Little Rock, died September 8, 2010. She was born January 15, 1919 in McRae, Arkansas the daughter of Richard Baxter Hale and Rose C. Wisdom. A registered nurse graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing, she was had been a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church since 1949. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Fagan and a daughter. Jean Annette Fagan. She is survived by six children, Rosemary Fagan Gordon of Little Rock, Charles William Fagan and his wife, Martha, of Beebe, Arkansas, Richard Joseph Fagan and his wife, Mary, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, James Paul Fagan of Little Rock, Patrick Kevin Fagan, and his wife, Jane, of Mayflower, Arkansas and Robert Michael Fagan, and his wife, Mattie, of Hensley, Arkansas, a sister, Olivana Hebert of Jennings, Louisiana, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. this evening (Friday) in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th. St., Little Rock. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church, Tyler and I Streets, Little Rock with Fr. Erik Pohlmeier, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Francis A. Allen School, 824 N. Tyler Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
