Syble Veleria Lockhart Roe, Born June 16, 1919, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her parents; Willis and Mary Lockhart, husband, Clifton Roe; great-granddaughters, Lesley and Leah Haliburton; sisters, Maybelle Price, Willie Boyer, Murlene Klein; brothers, J.T. Lockhart and Carlos Lockhart. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Clark and husband Bobby; granddaughter, Eleise Haliburton and Randy; grandson, Brett Clark and Pam all of Lonoke; great-grandchildren, Joshua Haliburton, Robert Cauldwell, Jaime Cauldwell and Devon Cauldwell; brother, Jack Lockhart and Rita of Sheridan, along with many other family members and dear friends. Syble was a faithful member of Lonoke Baptist Church for over 60 years and active for many years in the Dorcas Sunday school class. She worked several years at College Street and NuWay grocery stores. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, September 11, 2010, 10 a.m. at Lonoke Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Wallace and Bro. Danny Loretz officiating with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Boyd Funeral Home, Friday, September 10, 2010 from 6:30-8 p.m. Arrangements are by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
