Carlene Sherrell

Carlene Sherrell, 86, of North Little Rock was born December 1st, 1923 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Elsie Rice and passed away on Thursday, September 9th, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Sherrell, her brother, T.J. Rice Jr. and his wife Rose and her niece Sheila Jones. Mrs. Sherrell was a former member of the Eastern star in Pasadena, Texas she enjoyed gardening, yard work and antiquing. She was saved at the age of twelve and read the Bible on a regular basis. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children, Vicki Selle of Perryville, Arkansas and Beverly Castleberry of Ft. Worth, Texas, one sister Verna Dezell of Houston, Texas, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two nephews. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Monday, September 13th, 2010 in the outdoor chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock with visitation on Sunday, September 12th, 2010 form 3-5 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, 501-835-3515.
