Kenneth Paul Pryor "Sonny Boy" 12/12/24 – 8/31/10. Ken served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from OU. A gifted athlete, he played baseball and basketball for OU and was one of the best-known prep athletes in the state. He was a two-time AAU All-American basketball player for the Phillips 66'ers and finished 2nd in the 1968 Oklahoma state amateur golf championship. While at OU he met his wife of 62 years, Pauline "Cookie" Cook, head OU cheerleader. In 1962, they retired to Bella Vista and were an unbeatable couple's golf team. They recently moved back to Norman, Okla. Ken is survived by his wife, Pauline; their children, Jan Parks, Steve Pryor, Kay Dalke and Pam Mattaliano; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Friday Sept. 17, OU Lloyd Noble Center (East Entry), Tip-In Club (OU attire appropriate).
