Mabel Juanita Cooper

MABEL JUANITA COOPER, 85, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 10, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Owen and Vietta Gulley Thompson. Mabel was a member of Central Church of Christ and her hobbies included fishing, camping, reading, and playing cards with her friends. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd. She is survived by her daughters, Laverne Watts (Phil), Carolyn Barger (Rick), and Kathy McAdams (Eddie); grandchildren, Jennifer and Emily Watts, Sarah and Matt Matthews, Matthew and Michael Barger, Alan McAdams and Megan and Brandon Bennett; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Carson Matthews and Olivia Watts; two sisters, Maudie Gillihan and Fay Stapleton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel with Leon Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
