Virginia Dee Ryan Bledsoe

Virginia Dee Ryan Bledsoe, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010. She was born May 6, 1928 in Springfield, Mo., the daughter of the late Dee Herman and Bertha Ellen Taylor Ryan. She graduated from Arkadelphia High School. She was the bookkeeper for Auto Parts Company of Pine Bluff, Inc. for 23 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff. She is predeceased by her sisters, Ivon Huggs and Charlene Ryan. Survivors are husband of 64 years, Tommy Bledsoe. Also daughters Beverly (Terry) Paff of North Little Rock, Gail (Richard) Schultz of Key Largo, Fla., and Karen (Mark) Ragar of Flower Mound, Texas. Grandchildren: Jennifer (Michael) Blanscet, Jeff (Sally) Cordell, Brad Cordell, Ryan and Adam Ragar. She is survived by six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Laveeda Lewis of Hot Springs. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff, with Rev. Matt Norton officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 Tuesday, at Rest Haven Memorial Garden in Arkadelphia, Ark., with burial by Ralph Robinson and Son. The family will receive friends at Robinson's, Monday evening, 5-7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Heart Association or the First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff Building Fund.
