Billy R. Gill

Billy R. Gill, 66, of Bearden died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at his home. He was born July 2, 1944 in Camden. He served in the Army and the Army National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Ervin and Idella O'Mary Gill; three brothers, Lee Gill, George Gill, Bill Gill; four sisters, Della Hearne, Gladys Perry, Loretta Ashley and Marilyn Gill. He is survived by his wife, Frances Stringfellow Gill of Bearden; two sons, Mike Gill of Benton, Dennis Gill of Anna, Texas; one daughter, Ranee Brown of Holly Springs; two brothers, James E. Gill of Tarzana, Calif., Jimmy Gill of Fordyce; three sisters, Elizabeth Moore of Gary, Ind., Pat Huhnke of Redondo Beach, Calif., Ginger Brown of Lake Village; six grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. David Dillard officiating.
