Donald McDaniel

Donald McDaniel, 77, a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Mississippi County, died Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dottie McDaniel. He also leaves a sister, Judith Chiles of Pecan Point, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel was a member of the Mississippi County Quorum Court and in charge of Police, Fire, and Safety. He was also involved in local politics for many years. He loved hunting and his many friends. Services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Wilson United Methodist Church with interment following at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
