William Conrad "Dub" Brown of Little Rock was welcomed by the Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Dub was born in Dover, Arkansas, October 12, 1923 to the late Wiley E. Brown and Lillie Hardcastle Brown. He was preceded in death by Lillian Brown; his daughter Cheryl Hodges; his three brothers; and two sisters. Dub was a well respected deacon and previous Worshipful Master of the Masons (Roland Lodge #508). His longtime service led to numerous awards and achievements. A devout servant of his Lord Jesus Christ, Dub's passion for the word of God and his love for people will be remembered eternally. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Edith Brown; his daughter, Charlotte McDaniel; his son, Carl Hodges (wife Mary); his stepchildren, Jane Williams (husband Bill), and Harold Jump (wife Penny); eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2010 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 18th, in the funeral home chapel. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Pollard Cemetery, Dover, Arkansas.
