Jim L. Rafliff, 73, of Conway, Arkannsas, died Wednesday, September 15 2010, at Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitaion. Mr. Ratliff was born June 10, 1937, in Palo Pinto, Texas, a son of the late J. W. and Willie Augusta Ratliff. He was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Lester Ratliff; a brother, Lloyd Meneley; and a sister, Betty Lou (Ratliff) Fields. Jim was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was a retired construction worker. Mr. Ratliff was pastor of Word of Faith Outreach Church in Mayflower. He had ministered and preached the word of God for over 35 years; having received training with the Robert Tilton Bible College in Dallas and Agape Christian College in Little Rock. He was founder and President of Arkansas Cowboys for Christ and was known as "cowboy" to all of his friends. He had been active in bull riding. Survivors are his wife, Wanda Gail (Williams) Ratliff; children, Joey Lee Ratliff of New Jersey; Tonja Lynn Bajock of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Jina (Ratliff) Winston of Conway; James "Bo" Ratliff of Conway; Timothy "Skeeter" Ratliff of Cownay; Billy Joe Ratliff of Vilonia; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Ray West. Visitation will be Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the funeral home.
