Helen Fleming Boothe

Helen Fleming Boothe, 90 years old, Feb. 22, 1929 - Sept. 14, 2010. Helen went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010. She went very peaceably while visiting with her son in California. She was born in Joyce, La., and lived in Arkansas since her teen years. Mom loved her God, loved her family and never met a stranger. She loved to crochet things for her family and friends. Her great joy was spending time with her grandkids. She was very outgoing and loved to hear about your life and to share about hers. She was widowed two times. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Cora Ashcroft; her first husband, Harvey Fleming; her second husband, Paul Boothe; her daughter, Dorothy Fleming Pratt; her sisters, Patsy Gulledge and Marie Carman; and her brother, James Ashcroft. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle and Tommie Sue Fleming, Tom and Terry Fleming, Allen and Renita Fleming; and her step-daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Lynn Young; she had 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Juanita Walser; and brother, Herman Ashcroft Jr. Memorial services will be held at the First Landmark Baptist Church in Bentonville, Ark., on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery, in Crossett, Ark., on Thursday Sept. 23, 2010, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation in Helen's name be made to the American Cancer Society.
