Shirley D. Guthrie

Shirley D. Guthrie, 75, of Sherwood, passed away September 20, 2010. Born in Little Rock to Kenneth and Maudie Sledge Cartt, she was retired from Southwestern Bell and was a member of Northside Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband, Don Guthrie; son, Kenneth Ray Scott and wife, Barbara of Malvern; stepson, Donnie Guthrie and wife, Joantha of Clinton, Washington; and stepdaughter, Debra Derrick and husband, Chris of Darlington, South Carolina. Services will be held on Friday, September 24 at 10 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Dave Cypert and Rev. Robert Harrison, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
