Juanita M. Griffe

Juanita M. Griffe, 87 of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Arkansas Hospice Center in Little Rock, she was born on July 17, 1923 in Sweet Home; she was the daughter of John Mckinny & Goldie Howlett McKinney. Juanita was a retired co-owner of the family business Griffe Garage, she loved spending time with all her grandchildren and poodle "Betsy", and loved to travel with her husband in their RV, she was a member of the Christian Life Center in Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son Douglas Griffe. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Bennie Griffe of Little Rock; daughter & son-in-law, Charlotte & Tony Simpson of Bryant; daughter-in-law, Judy Griffe of Hensley; four grandsons, Ben Montgomery of Little Rock, Wayne D. Montgomery & wife Shelly of Benton, Todd Griffe & wife Diana of Hensley, and Bryan Griffe & wife Jenifer of Alexander; seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a sister. Doris Oliver of Redfield. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander with Melvin Clifford officiating.
