George A. McVay Jr. of Jacksonville passed on Sept. 19, 2010. He leaves to cherish his memory four brothers, Gary McVay, James Moore, Morris Hammond and Rev. Johnny Hammond; two sisters, Mary McVay and Patsy Phillips. One aunt, Mrs. Johnnie Foots and one Godson, Lil George. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 22nd and Willow Streets, North Little Rock. Family hour is from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Watson Northcrest Funeral Home, 1801 Maple, North Little Rock.
