Betty Jo Harper Bullock, age 79, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Mrs. Bullock was born June 28, 1931, in England, Ark., a daughter of the late Doc and Ethel Adams Harper. Mrs. Bullock was reared and received her education in Geridge and Humnoke, where she attended grade school and Stuttgart, graduating from Stuttgart High School in 1949. She lived in Stuttgart until 1958, when she moved to Pine Bluff. She had been a resident of Pine Bluff since. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, the Crown Club Birthday Girls, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Triple Delight Bunko Club. She was a caring woman who put her family first, always. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She touchhed the hearts and lives of so many. She collected antiques all her life which gave her much joy. She loved working in the yard with her flowers. Her favorite thing to do would be spending time with her family. Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Harper Temple Henderson. She is survived by her husband, Roy Orville Bullock, whom she married april 16, 1955, in Hernando, Mississippi; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vince Byron and Kimberly Kay Bullock of Pine Bluff and twin grandsons, Dustin Heath Bullock of Pine Bluff and Zackery Caine Bullock and wife Christina, of White Hall and Donnie Joe and Donna D. Carnahan of White Hall and twin grandsons Aaron Z. Carnahan and wife, Crystal of Bella Vista and Daniel Ryan Carnahan and wife Sarah, of Little Rock; sister, Margaret Ann Fread of Bonita, Louisiana. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Ray Edmonson officiating. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery at England, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at Robinson's Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the donor's choice.
