Landen Carl "L.C." Hefner

Landen Carl "L.C." Hefner, age 93, of Beebe (Antioch Community), died September 25, 2010. He was the first born son of Roy P. and Nina (Price) Hefner. L.C. was a WWII Army Veteran, and a Baptist. He is survived by two sons, Roy Hefner and wife Diana of Cabot and Max O. Hefner and wife Dee of Bakersfield, California; brother, Ben Hefner and wife Pat of Beebe; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a very special devoted companion and friend, Opal Furr. L.C. is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ala Mae; and brothers, Myrl, James, Waymon, Harold, and Bug. The family wishes to extend their endless gratitude to Sam "Jo" and Brenda of Des Arc Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Sharon with Arkansas Hospice. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 3022 Hwy. 367 S., Cabot, Arkansas 72023. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
