Max B. Osborn

Max B. Osborn, 67, of Conway passed away Sunday September 26, 2010 at Baptist Health Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1943 in Heber Springs, Ark., to the late Travis and Bernice (Reese) Osborn. He is survived by one daughter, Susan Cockrell and husband Jeff of Bauxite. An aunt, Jean Gregory of Harrison, and several cousins and friends also survive him. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge of Choctaw, Arkansas. He was a former employee for Ward's Bus Plant in Conway and a small engine mechanic. Max was a 1960 graduate of Clinton High School, and of Eaton Barber School in Little Rock. He enjoyed working on small engines and loved dogs. Special thanks to Dr. Bryan Suddreth and the nursing staff of Foxridge Assisted Living in Bryant, and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation of Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Saline County, P.O. Box 305 Benton, Arkansas 72018. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 29th at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway with Randy Allison officiating, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
