Birttie E. Bennett

Pastor Birttie E. Bennett Jr., 60, North Little Rock, departed this life September 27, 2010. He was Pastor Emeritus at Greater Friendship where he was pastor for 30 years. He worked many years in the community and being of service to many. He was preceded in death by father, Birttie Bennett Sr.; mother, Auretha Hartway. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Mildred Dee Bennett; children, Valdina Bennett, Recco Bennett (Sharon), Sherryll Thompson (Alan), Renaldo, Birtenna Bennett; brothers, Carl (Trina), John, Alvin Bennett; sisters, Rev. Jeanne Cotton, Tina Martin, Rev. Pat Williams; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of other family and numerous friends. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater Friendship.
