Randall Lee Grundy

Randall Lee Grundy was born March 11, 1951 in New Bedford, MA the son of Harry and Martha (Winterbottom) Grundy. Randy lost his nineteen month battle with melanoma at his home on Monday September 27, 2010 at the age of 59. Randy was a campaign staff manager for the Tulsa Area United Way and had previously worked as an investment manager for Arvest Bank and A.G. Edwards He also worked for the Mazzio's Corporation and once owned Mazzio's restaurants in Bentonvile and Rogers, Ark. He was active in the community and previously served as President of the Bentonville Chamber of Commerce, President of the Bentonville School Board, and President of the Benton County United Way. He was an avid runner and participated in over twenty marathons, including the Boston Marathon six times. He married Dawn Camille Symons on September 11, 2004. He is predeceased by his mother Martha Grundy. He is survived by his wife Dawn; his daughter Bethany Hunt and her husband David of Springdale, Ark.; his son Harrison Randall Grundy of Tulsa, Okla.; his daughter Caroline Hailey of the home; his father Harry Grundy of Baltimore, MD; his sister Debbie Dolan and her husband Denny of Baltimore, Md.; and his grandsons Toshiro and Ethan Hunt. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 2nd in the Ninde Brookside Chapel.
