Roger Hinderer, age 93, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. He was born on October 23, 1916 in Chelsea, Mich. Roger graduated from the University of Michigan with an MBA. He moved to Little Rock in 1977, where he and his wife Louise owned a Stretch and Sew Fabric store. He retired in 1986. Roger was a member of Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church, he was a 32nd degree Mason and actively involved in many charities. He also loved fishing, baseball and football and had a passion for history. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Mildred Hinderer of Chelsea, Mich. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Louise, his son Drew Hinderer and his wife Sara, his daughter Carolyn Hynes and her husband Norman, his son Alan Hinderer and his wife Maribeth, his grandchildren Kristine Roberson and her husband Chet, Kimberly Jarsma, John Jarsma and his wife Kim, Austin Hinderer, Taylor Hinderer, Jon Hynes and his wife Mia and Chris Hynes and his wife Julie, and his great-grandchildren Chester Roberson, Isabelle Roberson, Liam Hynes, Logan Hynes and Calvin Hynes. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Smile Train. A celebration of Roger's life will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Lakewood House in North Little Rock. And a funeral will be held on October 30, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church.
