Wanda Fraser Thompson

Wanda Fraser Thompson aged 87, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on July 31, 2011. She was born in Elizabeth, Pa. on August 2, 1924 to the late Robert and Jean Aitken Fraser. She graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1942 and went on to sing in the USO during WWII. She was feisty, fun-loving and independent, loved her "babies" and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen "Casey" Holbert, who died in 2008, wife of Richard N. Holbert of Little Rock. Survivors are her grandchildren; Valerie Holbert, Hillary Holbert, Taylor Holbert and his wife Kelly all of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Lauren Holeman, Harrison Holbert and Jett Holbert; sister-in-laws, Jean Brown of Elizabeth, Pa. and Pearl Fraser of Forward Twp, Pa.; nieces, Bonnie Hibner of Port Vue, PA and Candy Topp of Forward Twp, Pa.; great-nieces, a great-nephew and many other family members and friends. She will be put to rest beside her daughter following an 11 a.m. memorial service on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Second Presbyterian Church of Little Rock, 600 Pleasant Valley Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72207.
