Ola Mae Bradford

Ola Mae Boyd Bradford, age 102, of Conway, Arkansas, formerly of Bee Branch, Arkansas, entered into the arms of her heavenly father on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Southridge Village Assisted Living in Conway, Arkansas. Ola was born on May 2, 1909, in Morganton, Arkansas, to the late Selmer Boyd and the late Ida Johnson Boyd. She married Clofus Hardin Bradford on April 2, 1927, and he preceded her in death in 1965. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Coyn Boyd, her sister-in-law, Dortha Risener Boyd, and two sons-in-law, Lonnie Mcknight and Dickie Lefler. Ola was a Methodist and openly shared her love of Jesus Christ. All who knew Ola will remember her love of the outdoors whether it was mowing the lawn, raking leaves, or planting and harvesting the garden. Ola is survived by her daughter, Winna Ruth Lefler, granddaughter, Susan Dear (Steve), and great granddaughters, Lauren Dear, and Mackenzie Dear, all of Conway. She also leaves behind two nieces, Sharon Johnson (Terry) and Lisa Priest (Rick) of Jacksonville, and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Southridge Village who took such wonderful care of her. Pallbearers will be Carroll Dee Bradford, Jeff Johnson, Jon Johnson, Jason Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Nick Priest, and Justin Priest. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 5-7 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, Arkansas. Funeral service will be at Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 1 p.m., at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, Arkansas, with Reverend Ed Kerr officiating. Burial will follow at Hardin Cemetery in Bee Branch, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Hardin Cemetery Fund, c/o L.D. Parish, 3627 Highway 92 E, Bee Branch, Ark., 72013.
