Anne Rhodes Dishner

Anne Rhodes Dishner, 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on August 1, 2011. She was born March 15, 1921 near Quitman, Georgia and grew up in Atlanta. She had a long career as a registered nurse, working in Georgia, Missouri, Nebraska and Arkansas. She retired from International Paper in Pine Bluff after 18 years of employment. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Pine Bluff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas M. Rhodes and Mattie Thrasher Rhodes; husband, Dennis E. Dishner and brother, Travis Rhodes. She is survived by son, Dennis M. Dishner of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Raney and Barrett Dishner; Michael Boyd; sister, Mary Gormley of Hackettstown, New Jersey; brothers, Frank G. Rhodes of Sebastopol, California; Charlie Rhodes of Newnan, Georgia and William Rhodes of Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with interment to follow at Cypress Memorial Gardens in Pine Bluff. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
