Anne Rhodes Dishner, 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on August 1, 2011. She was born March 15, 1921 near Quitman, Georgia and grew up in Atlanta. She had a long career as a registered nurse, working in Georgia, Missouri, Nebraska and Arkansas. She retired from International Paper in Pine Bluff after 18 years of employment. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Pine Bluff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas M. Rhodes and Mattie Thrasher Rhodes; husband, Dennis E. Dishner and brother, Travis Rhodes. She is survived by son, Dennis M. Dishner of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Raney and Barrett Dishner; Michael Boyd; sister, Mary Gormley of Hackettstown, New Jersey; brothers, Frank G. Rhodes of Sebastopol, California; Charlie Rhodes of Newnan, Georgia and William Rhodes of Atlanta, Georgia.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with interment to follow at Cypress Memorial Gardens in Pine Bluff. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
