Mary Eleanor "M.E." (Hodges) Boyles, 88, moved from the Willow House in North Little Rock to her new home in Heaven to live with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 4, 2011. She was born October 7, 1922 to the family of E.O. and Ruby Hodges. Mary Eleanor was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She had numerous jobs: church secretary, worker for Welcome Wagon, and was a switchboard operator and receptionist for Southern Farmer's Association for 20 years. She was a mother, friend, Christian, singer, encourager and poet. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, George and L. D. Hodges. She is survived by and influenced three sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Debbie Boyles, of Sherwood; Dickie and Cindy Boyles, of Conway and Dan and Tracy Boyles, of Marshall, Texas; six grandchildren, Kevin Boyles, Christy (Boyles) Risius, Candice and Tim Boyles, Kelly and Matthew Boyles; six great-grandchildren, Bailey and Kelsey Boyles, Allison and Nathan Risius and Brannon and Brooks Boyles and one sister, Naomi Harris, of Snyder, Texas. Mary Eleanor will be missed, but we celebrate her home going to Heaven - to God be the Glory; great things He has done, is doing, and will continue to do! Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday at Park Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
