Evelyn Stewart Langley

Evelyn Stewart Langley, 91, of Greenbrier went to be with her Lord on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011. Born in Quitman, Ark. she was a daughter to the late Edward and Nancy (Little) Stewart. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Republican. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Farris Langley, her previously mentioned parents and her sisters, Trudy Duncan and Trixie DeJarrnet. Survivors include her son, Maurice Langley and wife Linda: daughter Jane Havens and husband Leon; grandchildren: Lynita Langley-Ware and husband Philip and Beverly Brannan and husband Chris; great-grandchildren: Sophia Ware, Liam Ware, Drake Brannan and Devon Brannan all of Greenbrier. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday. Aug. 8, 2011, at Roller McNutt Funeral Chapel in Greenbrier with Bro. Jesse Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery, in Guy, with Jimmy Fielder, Steve Mallett, David Merritt, David Reynolds, Raymond Reynolds and Tim Reynolds serving as pallbearers.
