Paul Webb

Paul Webb was born April 15, 1925 in Lanty, Ark. to Charlie and Idell Hankins Webb and he passed from this world on Aug. 5, 2011 in Conway, Ark. at the age of 86. When he was seven, his family moved to England, Ark. and he grew up there working on a cotton farm. In 1958, he and his wife, Betty moved to the community of Sylvania, where he worked as a dairy farmer. In 1975, he retired from the dairy business and went to work for the Cabot School System, where he worked until his retirement in 1990. Paul was an avid hunter and always had dogs. He never met a stranger and loved to visit with his family and friends. His greatest joy in life was his family, whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers, Othel, Bill, Jack, Joby and Clyde Webb; two sisters, Burkyle Travis and Emogene Derden; four nephews; a niece and several in-laws. He is survived by his dear wife of 64 years, Betty Tipton Webb of Conway; three sisters, Azalee Allison of Gravel Ridge, Pearl Perry of Hazen and Lorene Sloan of England, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home , with Rev. Steve Zumalt officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Union Valley Cemetery.
