Dwight Edward Davidson

DWIGHT EDWARD DAVIDSON, 67, of Crystal Hill, North Little Rock, passed away Aug. 6, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He was born at Mount Vernon, Ark., April 4, 1944 to Iva Jane and Herbert Davidson. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his brother, William Herbert Davidson and wife Dorothy; nieces, Lori Lavender, Pam Dunlap, Kim Strange, Sara Fairchild and 12 great-nieces and nephews. Dwight was a small engine mechanic for many years. He served in the US Army with the 537th Engineer Company as a top surveyor, earning the good conduct medal, national defense service medal and sharpshooter. Visitation will be 6–8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Graveside services will be Tuesday, Aug. 9 at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, (Old Jacksonville Highway), with Bro.
