Eugene E. Jordan Jr.

Eugene E. Jordan Jr., 69, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 1, 1941 in Monticello. He was a retired pipefitter and welder and was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Eugene E. Jordan Sr. and Erlene DeArmond Jordan and was preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Jordan. Survivors include his wife, Alice Johnson Jordan of Monticello; one son, John Jordan and wife Gloria of Monticello; one daughter, Genia Jordan Crouch and husband, David of Monticello; one grandson, J J Jordan and wife, Candace; one great-grandchild, Aiden Jordan. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Ladelle Cemetery.
