Laura Elizabeth Mazzanti

Laura Elizabeth Diffey Mazzanti, 61, of Forrest City, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Laura was born in Forrest City on Dec. 19, 1949 and was the daughter of Joella Bryan Berry Diffey and John Alexander Diffey. Laura was the curator of the St. Francis County Museum and a resident of Pine Bluff, Ark., for many years. Laura is survived by her two sons, Alex Mazzanti of Chicago, Ill., and Chris Mazzanti of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Susan Marlowe of Little Rock, Ark., and Jo Alexander of Fort Thomas, Ky.; three grandchildren, Carter, Drew, Taylor; and her companion of many years, Walter Sweet of Forrest City. Services will be held at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. Visit online registry at stevensfuneralhome.net.
