Paul Everett Leamons, 84, of Camden, departed his earthly life Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mr. Leamons was born April 11, 1927 in Vaden, Ark. He was predeceased by parents, Ernest and Nellie (Langley) Leamons; brothers, Forrest (Ginny), Glen, and Doyle (Leona); sister, Beth Leamons; and first wife, Jeanette Ross Leamons. He is survived by his wife, Betty Leamons of Camden; brother, Burl Leamons (Charlene) of Camden; sister-in-law, Katharine Leamons of Fayetteville, North Carolina; step-children, James Elliott (Kim) of Keithville, Louisiana and Kathy Daniel (Rick) of Camden; step-grandchildren, Kristina Covington and Donnie Betts (Chris); great-grandchildren, Charle Covington, Lexi Betts, and Michael Betts all of Camden, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He was retired from International Paper Company after approximately 40 years of service. He was in the U.S. Army, and served in Germany. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a 50 year member of the Malvern-Camden Hunting Club and the Boiling Pot Association Funeral services for Mr. Leamons will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. Pam Brule' officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
