Teresa Dawn Mitchell

Teresa Dawn Mitchell, born in Inglewood, CA on October 12th, 1965, gave breast cancer the biggest battle she could fight. On Sunday, August 7th, 2011 she went to heaven surrounded by her family. She is now an angel in heaven with her dear grandmother, Irene Mitchell, and her "adopted" father-in-law, Joe Johnson. Cherishing her memory are her parents, Don and Terri Mitchell, her sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Randy Johnson, her Brother and sister-in-law, Donni and Sharon Mitchell. "KIKI", as she was lovingly called, was a second mother to her nieces and nephews, Mitch, Meghan, Michael, and Marguerite Johnson, Jeremiah Mitchell, Tiffany and Maggie Bogan, and great nephew Gage Ferguson. She had many Aunts and Uncles including Carolyn and CH Kerr, Jim Mitchell, Charles and Carol Mitchell, and Bob and Ann Mitchell. Cousins Tammy, DeAnna, Gavin, Harrison, Vickie Mitchell and Debbie Lamb. She also leaves behind a multitude of friends who loved her dearly, childhood friends, college friends, co–workers, and her special support group faithful friends. Teresa loved every one of you. Teresa earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from the UofA at Fayetteville and Masters Degree from UCA. She taught at Christ the King Catholic School where she loved her students and truly felt those were her children. She also taught in the NLR, and LR school districts. The family would like to thank all of Teresa's special friends who have supported her and prayed for her during this difficult time. Funeral Mass with The Very Rev. Msgr. Francis I. Malone officiating, will be at Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock on Thursday, August 11th at 1 p.m.. Pink flowers are welcome along with memorials to Arkansas Children's Hospital, Leukemia Clinic, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, Ark. 72202-3591, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation of Northwest Arkansas, 4241 N Gabel Dr. # 2B, Fayetteville, Ark., and the Susan G.
