Dwight Eugene Watkins

Dwight Eugene Watkins 59, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born to the late Aristede and Marie Whitmore Watkins on April 27, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dwight accepted Christ in his life at an early age and united with Wesley United Methodist Church and received his education in the Little Rock School System and graduated from Metropolitan Vo-Tech School and then he went to work for Virco MFG Corporation in Conway, Arkansas. He leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Aristede Watkins Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister, Gwendolyn A. Guss of Denver, Colorado and a host of other relatives and friends, who will dearly miss him. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011, 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. Family visitation: Sunday, August 14, 2011, 4-5 p.m., both services will be at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
