Frances Jean Campbell Brown of Little Rock entered into eternal rest August 7, 2011. She was born on November 8, 1935 to Goldie Swan Campbell and Manley Campbell in College Station, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and a sister, Darlene. Frances was a long time member of Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church of College Station, where she was very active in various religious organizations, member of the Senior Choir, Stewardess Board and Financial Secretary. She received her education at J. C. Cook High School in Wrightsville; Shorter College in North Little Rock and U.C.A. in Conway. She worked years as a Child Care Director for the Economic Opportunity Agency of Pulaski County. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Eugene Brown of Wrightsville; two sons, Richey (Aida) Brown of Dallas, Texas, and Kevin D. (Marvalene) Brown Sr. of Wrightsville; brothers, M.D. (Rowena) Campbell of Kansas City, Missouri and Danny T. (Maggie) Campbell of Richmond, California; sisters, Eunice (George) Livingston, and Bettye Rose Griffin of Richmond, California; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, In-Laws, and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral Services, Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church in College Station. Family Hour, 6-7 p.m. Friday also at the Church. Burial at Rest-In-Peace Cemetery. Services entrusted to Hubble Funeral Home, 374-3134.
