James "Jim" E. Fee

James "Jim" E. Fee, age 67, passed away Tuesday August 2, 2011 in Houston, Texas after a lengthy illness. He was born to Ernest G. Fee and Clara Wells Fee June 5, 1944 in Hope, Arkansas. He is survived by son, James Eric Fee and a grandson, Jacob James Fee of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Joyce Tuggle of Bossier City, La. and Glenda Krum of Little Rock, Ark. He is also survived by a cousin, Dora Fee of Prescott, Ark.; nephews Michael Lipke and Dwayne Phillips and nieces Tammy Lipke and Hollye Hahn Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chapman University in southern California. He served honorably in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He was a corporate pilot for a number of years. His last position was with Galaxo, Smith & Kline where he flew domestic and international flights. Jim was an avid skydiver and Hang Glider. He jumped with other skydivers to set record hookups in free fall. Jim was a mentor to his nephews and nieces and very special to his son and sisters. A memorial service will be held at the Pharr Funeral Home in Prescott, Arkansas at 3 p.m. on Saturday August 13, 2011. Burial will be at the Snell Cemetery in Emmet, Arkansas,under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott. Friends and family are invited.
