Lula Mae Woodworth, 92 of Sherwood passed away August 8, 2011 in Little Rock. She was born on March 18, 1919 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Walter and Persus Wallace. Lula was a very faithful and active church member who was a great pianist, organist, and had a beautiful voice; she loved gardening and working on crafts, especially the old time leather working, Lula was a great decorative artist, who would use her talent decorating sugar cubes with icing for tea parties. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ray Woodworth, a daughter Betty Ann and her parents. Survivors include her children, Paul Woodworth and wife Margie, Linda Woodworth-Pierson and husband Steve, Janet Lange, and Warren D. Woodworth; grandchildren, Steven Pierson and wife Melynda, Tanya Freeman and husband Scott, James Pierson and wife Sonja, Charles Pierson and wife Ashley, Jeff Woodworth and wife Alice, Debra Gustavus, Michael Woodworth and wife Courtney, Wesley Woodworth and wife Debbie, Ryan Wakefield, Tammy, Colleen, Jenny, J.K., Carrie Woodworth and Jenny and many beloved great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church in Sherwood with Bro.
