Gereda Baker Greer

Gereda Baker Greer, widow of Alton Greer, died Aug. 11, 2011 at the age of 95 at Searcy, Ark. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Sherman Sunday School Class. She is survived by one son, John A. Greer of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; one sister, Lucille Carter of Searcy; and one sister-in-law, Richadean Greer Wilson of Memphis, Tenn. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker; four brothers and four sisters. Visiting hours will be held Monday, Aug. 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Honey Hil Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
