Wilma Joyce Stovall

Wilma Joyce Newberry Stovall, 88, of Paragould, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 13, 2011, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruth Cato, her husband of 40 years, Wilborn Newberry and her husband of 15 years, Robert Stovall, all of Paragould. She is survived by her five children: Phyllis Liversiedge of Southhaven, Miss., James L. Newberry and wife Becky of Little Rock, Ark., Wilborn Newberry, Jr. of Paragould, Janet Taylor and husband Steve of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Carol Phillips and husband Stan of Paragould. Wilma Joyce had seven grandchildren: Michelle Phillips of Paragould, Robert E. Elam of Hoover, Ala., Will Newberry of Little Rock, Rachel, Becca, and Molly Taylor of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Cameron Phillips of Paragould; four great grandchildren, Anna and Claire Phillips of Paragould and Alex and Zach Elam of Hoover, Ala. She also leaves her sister, Pat Gregory of Paragould, now living in Owensboro, Ky. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Heath Funeral Home, Tuesday, followed by a graveside service at 12 p.m. at Center Hill Cemetery.
