Katherine May Lange went to heaven surrounded by family August 15, 2011 in Brentwood, Tenn. Born October 9, 1912 in Springview, NE, she lived a glorious ‎98 years, 10 months, and six days. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Robert "Mac" Lange and a brother Henry Chauncey Neser. Survivors include her daughter, Leah Kay (Robert) Quandt and her son, Robert A. (Sandra) Lange, Jr; niece Gwendolyn Neser; grandchildren: Leah Helene (Keith Dennen) Fisher; Bob (Cortney) Quandt; Rena "K-K-K-Katie" Quandt and Nicholas Lange; five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many friends. An avid traveler, Mrs. Lange visited all 50 states, traveled abroad and even drove a car up the White House driveway at fourteen. "Miss Kay" ran a kindergarten out of her home for many years. She loved to play bridge with friends and enjoyed gardening. She was an active member of the Pulaski Heights Christian Church in Little Rock, Ark., teaching the kindergarten Sunday school class for many years. Mrs. Lange was a member of the Phi Mu sorority at the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville). Also, she was an active member of the Little Rock Chapter 34 of the AARP. A visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 at Griffin-Leggett-Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St. Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 661-9111. A Graveside Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Oakland Fraternal Cemetery in Little Rock, Ark.
