Kerry Wayne Hensley

Kerry Wayne Hensley, 65 of Pangburn, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. He was born August 8, 1946 in Hickory Flat, Arkansas. Mr. Hensley was a member of the Church of Christ and a recipient of two Purple Heart medals and one medal of commendation while serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. His wife, Gloria Ann Hensley and his father, Albert Hensley, precede him in death. Survivors include son, Douglas Hensley (Jackie) of Pangburn, Ark.; daughter, Sheila Reaves (Jeb) of Athens, Ala.; six grandchildren, Murphy Hensley; Devin Hensley; Will Reaves; Sarah Reaves; Molly Reaves; Hannah Hensley; his mother, Laverne Hensley of Hickory Flat, Ark.; one sister, Venetta Rice of North Little Rock; two brothers, Chester Hensley of Oklahoma; Richard Hensley of Texas. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy. Services will be 11 a.m., Friday at the funeral home chapel.
