Edna Maxine McKinney of Little Rock died August 17, 2011. She was born January 4, 1922 near Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Newt and Inez Aldridge. She was preceded in death by her husband Major Jerald F. "Doc" McKinney, brother Clifford Aldridge and sister Faye Wallace. She retired from J.C. Penney as a merchandiser in January 1984, after being one of the first women to ever hold such a position in the company. She is survived by her son Jerald Clifford McKinney and his wife Patricia of Benton and by her daughter Rozalyn Bradley and her husband Bob of Mesa, Arizona; her grandson Jerald Clifford McKinney, II and wife Karen of Benton and by her granddaughter Suzanne Taylor of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by the joy of her life, three great-granddaughters: Chloe Taylor of Mesa, Arizona; Katherine "Katie" McKinney and Megan McKinney of Benton. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 20 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth with Dr. Jeff Hampton, officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Honorary pallbearers will be the Butler Sunday School Class and Gold Star Wives. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church at 4823 Woodlawn Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or to Arkansas Rice Depot at P.O.
