Nadine Lowry Hooker

Nadine Lowry Hooker, 77, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 18, 2011. She was born on August 12, 1934 in Waterloo, Arkansas to the late Clifton Lowry and Ruby Wade Lowry. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Hooker of North Little Rock. Her son, Gary Hooker and wife, Melba, of Little Rock; daughter, Karen Hooker Tracy and husband, Joe, of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania. Four grandchildren, Haley Hooker (Bryan) Floyd , Matthew Tracy, Grayson Hooker, Jennifer Tracy and one great granddaughter, Kinley Grace Floyd; two sisters, Wanda Pedron of Kirby and Patsy Cauldwell of Stephens. She is preceded in death by six sisters, Margaret Almand, Lorraine Wilkerson, Marion "Mick" Oliver, Jane Ozment, Carol Lowry; two brothers, Wade Lowry and Norman Lowry. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Alzheimer's Association, POB 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090. Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home and the funeral at 11 a.m., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
