Lauren Kay Sheeler

Lauren Kay Sheeler, 51, was born in El Paso, Texas, on Oct. 4, 1959, to Laurence and Hattie Ellen Poole and died Nov. 22, 2010, in Long Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her father, Laurence Poole. She is survived by her mother Hattie Ellen Cohrt of Greenbrier, Ark., Daughter Trace Ellen Poole of Little Rock, Ark., a loving companion Keith Crane of Long Beach, Calif., and her animals, a brother David Vanderpoole of Waukesha, Wis., two sisters Pardene Jarman of Greenbrier, Ark., Barbara Eldridge of Benton, Ark., and many nieces, nephews and friends. Lauren worked in Las Vegas, Nev., for many years and was a medical assistant and care giver. She belonged to a Harley motorcycle club and traveled extensively throughout the United States and other countries. She was a great humanitarian of abused and mistreated animals. Her memorial service will be held at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home, 108 North Broadview, Greenbrier, Ark., on Aug. 27 at 3pm. 501-679-4400
