Paul M. Doyel

Paul M. Doyel was born August 9, 1923 in Waldron, Arkansas to Luther and Nancy Jane (King) Doyel. He passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Bristow, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years. Paul made his home in Depew for the past 33 years. In 1946, Paul was united in marriage with the late, Louise Simmons. After her passing on February 26, 1994, Paul went on to marry Frances Mary on August 7, 1994. She also preceded him in death on February 26, 2001. Paul was retired from Gate City Steel where he worked as a welder for 35 years. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local Union 584 in Tulsa. Paul enjoyed raising jennies and growing beautiful flowers and vegetables. He was an avid wolf hunter and enjoyed going hunting with his Walker Hounds. Paul had a long and happy life and will be missed by all that knew him. Paul is survived by one son, Roger Paul Doyel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two daughters, Susan Faye Simons of Bixby, Oklahoma and Laura Louise Sichelschmidt of Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Louise Doyel; his second wife, Frances Doyel; five brothers; and five sisters. Graveside services will be 10am, Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Davenport Cemetery with Reverend Justin Richison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home.
