Stephen Richard Lentz

Stephen Richard Lentz, 67, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 20, 2011, at his home in Rowlett, TX, after a lengthy illness. He was born July 20, 1944, in Sandusky, OH, to the late Ralph Frederick and Constance Joan Camp Lentz. He was a graduate of Ohio University and was employed by AT&T/Lucent for 34 years. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Lentz and step-daughter, Kelley Page. Stephen is survived by his wife Norma Baxley Lentz of Rowlett; his son, Stephen Eric Lentz of Nashville, Tenn.; daughters, Amanda Ryal-Mason (Brad) of Columbus, Ohio and Rebecca Lentz of Plano, Texas; a step-son, Roger Page (Pauline) of Bauxite, Ark.; a step-daughter, Michelle Page of Little Rock, Ark.; an uncle, Richard Camp of Florida, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several cousins. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Alexander First Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Bauxite. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23rd at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton, Ark. (315-4047). In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hope 4 Refugees, 1515 N. Town East Blvd., Mesquite, Texas 75150.
