Rodney Blake Roark

Rodney (Blake) Roark, after many years of living in Minneapolis, Minn, returned to North Little Rock to be with family, where he died August 24. He was 32. Blake had a love for family, music and travel. During his youth, he spent much of his time involved in helping others, teaching them about God's Kingdom as Jesus taught us to pray for in Matthew 6:6-9. Blake was preceded in death by his sister Shannon Jill. He is survived by parents Rodney and Carolyn Roark of North Little Rock; his sister Catrina and her husband, Jeremy Wright and their children, Rodney Garrett, Caitlyn Taylor and Braden Cache of Judsonia; grandparents, Joe and Marjorie Kelley of Lonoke and John and Jerry Roark of Lonoke; Aunt Lori Robertson of North Little Rock; along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thanks to Arkansas Hospice, the Hospice unit of St. Vincent's Hospital, and the Hospice care that was given by North Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of North Little Rock. After a private family memorial, family and friends are invited to his parent's home in North Little Rock, Saturday, August 27 from 1-5 p.m. to share in comfort and support of each other.
